Overview
The Book of Mormon follows two young Mormon missionaries sent to a Ugandan village, and mines the culture clash for deliberately outrageous, taboo-pushing comedy alongside a genuinely well-crafted musical theatre score from Trey Parker, Matt Stone and Robert Lopez.
It's one of the sharpest satirical musicals to hit the West End in years and has held a long-running residency at the Prince of Wales Theatre since 2013 — but it is not a show for a family audience or anyone easily offended.
